The Homestead Cabin is the first cabin that was built on the property and has an obvious Fredericksburg design. The limestone rock is prominent on the porch, which has countryside views. The entrance of the cabin is an old German etched glass door.

The living room of the Homestead Cabin has Mexican tile floors and limestone wood-fireplace and features a satellite television/DVD. A mounted longhorn accents the high beams ceilings.Enjoy cooking in the kitchen, which has an antique rustic cabinet and counter and a granite caved sink. There is a four burner stovetop, coffeemaker, toaster, microwave and 5' refrigerator/freezer. Enjoy visiting around the harvest table which seats six.
A large bedroom offers an elaborate queen-size bed crafted from wood. Enjoy the large corner whirlpool tub located in the bedroom. An armoire and various other special antiques are found in the wonderful room. The bathroom has a large limestone shower.
The upstairs loft has two entrances – one is an outside stairway and the other an inside set of very steep stairs, which are typical of the old German stairs. The loft has a queen-size bed and half bath.
This cabin comes furnished with fresh linens, a few pots/pans, plates, cups, wine glasses, utensils, coffeemaker, microwave, 5' tall refrigerator/freezer and a gas grill on the porch.
