Tin Star Ranch holds 2 cook-offs per year. Our Christmas cook-off is sanctioned by The Lone Star Barbecue Society. Our cook-off in April is put on by Tin Star Ranch and is not a sanctioned cook-off and we invite any and all cookers to come cook and have a great time.

Christmas 2010 December 3^rd -5^th was an exceptional cook off tallying 33 teams. We enjoyed the enthusiasm of the teams which made for a fun atmosphere for both the public and teams. We want to thank all teams for making x-mas cook-off a success. We hope to see everyone next year. God Bless!

April 2011 cook-off there was 6 teams, but despite the low numbers the cook-off could not have been more fun. After a day of good food everyone went to the Saloon a enjoyed some out standing country music.  We at Tin Star Thank everyone and hope to see ya'll again.

60% Pay Back in Chili and Beans 1st - 2nd Place in each category
